It is so hard to find a therapist in San Diego who can help you with your negative relationship with food or with your body. You have felt dismissed or misunderstood by therapists, counselors, psychologists, physicians, and even your own family and friends. You likely have been dealing with these challenges since you were a teen. Over the years, your struggle has been minimized and invalidated.
It may feel like other areas of your life in San Diego, such as your job or school, are going well, but then you can't stop thinking about what you have eaten or what you will or will not eat. You are preoccupied with your body, filled with shame and self-loathing about your thoughts and behaviors around food and how you look.
You are filled with anxiety and sadness because you do not know how to handle it. You fight with family and friends because you are not eating enough or are eating too much. You feel isolated from the world and wonder what's wrong with you.
