Hi, I’m Dr. Marianne!
I am an eating disorder therapist in the Scripps Ranch/Mira Mesa area of San Diego, California with nearly 30 years of experience in California, Texas, and Washington, D.C. I specialize in ARFID, autism, and ADHD. I provide neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed, sensory-attuned therapy for adults, teens, and children aged 7+. For those with long-term eating disorders, I use a harm-reduction approach that respects their autonomy. When clients first see me, I build a sense of safety and trust. Working collaboratively with families and individuals, we create a supportive structure so the sufferer and their caregivers no longer feel confused and alone. They experience relief from the constant mental burden of food management, eating, and body preoccupation. In addition to ARFID, I treat binge eating disorder, bulimia, anorexia, and body image concerns. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming. As an autistic therapist myself, I deeply understand the need for care that honors autistic, ADHD, and ARFID lived experience.
